Where It All Began
Long before ASH JAIDE existed, I was simply a little girl who loved to create.
Some of my earliest memories are of drawing, painting, scrapbooking, and making things with my hands. Creativity was always second nature to me. Throughout school, art became my favourite place to escape, experiment, and express myself. By the time I finished Year 12, after receiving multiple art awards, I knew creativity would always be a part of who I am. At the same time, I developed a deep fascination with health and nutrition.
From a young age, I was curious about how food could influence the way we feel, move, and live. I spent years learning about nutrition, longevity, and overall wellbeing, searching for ways to feel my best and support my health naturally. I fell in love with fresh produce, whole foods, and the simple act of preparing nourishing meals. There was something incredibly grounding about connecting with food in its most natural form.

For a long time, I thought becoming a nutritionist might be my path. But as much as I loved learning about nutrition, I eventually realised it wasn't my true calling. It was a passion that enriched my own life, but it wasn't fulfilling the creative part of me that had always been there. The more I painted, experimented, and explored different artistic styles, the more I realised that creating was what truly lit me up.
Over time, the two worlds I loved most began to merge. I found myself drawn to painting tropical fruits, botanicals, and the natural elements that had become such a significant part of my lifestyle. I was inspired by the colours, textures, and abundance found in nature, the foods that nourish us, the plants that heal us, and the landscapes that make us feel most alive.
The ocean also became a constant source of inspiration. Warm tropical air, salty skin, palm trees swaying in the breeze, collecting seashells along the shoreline, these are the places where I feel most connected to myself. It's where life feels slower, lighter, and more intentional. Those moments of calm and connection naturally found their way into my artwork.
Today, ASH JAIDE is a reflection of everything I love. A celebration of nourishment, nature, creativity, and slow living. Through earthy tones, tropical produce, organic textures, and coastal influences, I create artwork that honours the beauty of the natural world and the simple things that make us feel good. My hope is that each piece brings warmth, joy, and a sense of connection into your space, and resonates with those who value wellbeing, creativity, and a life inspired by nature.
Wanting to turn my lifelong passion into a meaningful career, I made the decision to study Graphic Design at Billy Blue College of Design. There, I refined my creative skills, explored a wide range of design disciplines, and developed a deeper understanding of visual storytelling. Graduating in 2026, I stepped into the creative industry with a clear vision: to build a career that combines art, design, and purpose.
Today, my work spans art prints for home interiors, textile and surface pattern design, and branding for businesses. Whether I'm creating a collection inspired by tropical abundance, developing patterns for textiles, or helping a brand tell its story through thoughtful design, my goal remains the same- to create work that feels warm, intentional, and deeply connected to the beauty of the world around us.
